Starfish Backpacks

About the Program

  • The Starfish Pack Backpack Program helps feed local school children by ensuring they have food for the weekend.

  • In 2016, this collaborative program came to Kamloops and has since grown to support 40 local children in 2 schools. This year, the program supports over 100 students in a number of local schools.

  • The Kamloops Food Bank is proud to work alongside the Rotary Club of Kamloops, the United Way and School District #73 to provide this important program.
