Past Events April 2009 Music Makes Meals Took place on April 4th at the Colombo Hall Over $5200 was raised for the Food Bank The night wouldn't have been possible without the support of Earthbound, Kronic Obsession, Danie Pouliotte and Joey Jack who entertained the crowd June 2009 National Hunger Awareness Day Tuesday, June 2, 2009 Help support the Kamloops Food Bank by purchasing a $2 BC Share coupon at the till of local grocery stores Save On Foods All four Cooper's Foods locations Both Safeway locations Superstore Extra Foods The money generated from the BC Share coupons enables us to purchase food when our shelves start to empty or we are short of staples in our hampers. Over 700,000 Canadians are helped by Food Banks every month; 37% are children.
